COTTON THAT FEELS BETTER
We have some good news for you and the environment - by next year, 100% of our cotton will be sustainably sourced. This means that our cotton will be organic, recycled or sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which aims to improve global cotton production. And we're almost there: For our kids' range and women's basics, all cotton is already sustainably sourced!
GET TO KNOW SUSTIANABLY SOURCED COTTON
ORGANIC COTTON is grown without chemical pesticides or fertilisers ans contains no genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
RECYCLED COTTON comes from old garments and textile leftovers, which are ground into fibres, spun into new yarns and woven into new fabrics.
THE BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE (BCI) is a non profit organisation that trains cotton farmers to use water efficiently, care for natural habitats, reduce the use of harmful chemicals and respect the rights of workers. By sourcing cotton through BCI, H&M is supporting this global initiative and keeping up the demand for Better Cotton. And as an H&M customer, so are you!
