Synthetic materials release microfibres when washed. These microfibres are basically plastic that is too small to be sorted out properly at the sewage plant.

You need:

A special washing bag.

How to:

Put your synthetics in a washing bag when washing, it will capture any microfibres and keep them from entering our oceans – important & for real! And don’t forget to clean out the bag and sort the captured microfibres with other plastics.
